Common Birds of Wallowa Lake

Audubon's Warbler

Our most common Warbler. The species was considered a variant of the Yellow-rumped Warbler but recent DNA evidence suggests they are a separate species. An insect hunter, you'll find them perched on limbs overlooking streams. About 5" long.
