Ever heard of Ferguson Ridge Ski Area? Of course not, because it's no Aspen...it's so much better that it's almost a leprechaun!
Ferguson Ridge (locals say Fergi) is an all-volunteer run hill only a couple miles outside of Joseph, where it's not uncomon to see folks hitting the slopes in jeans. With a rope tow, a T-bar, a friendly rental shop, lift tickets only $20 bucks and plenty of powder stashed in the trees, 2 inches at Fergi, as they say, feels like 6! Much like the mythical village of Brigadoon, however, it does disappear each year, and when this happens a party is in order to celebrate the season in style!
