Each year the group Runners of the Sage puts on a half marathon up scenic and gently climbing Hurricane Creek Rd, starting from Joseph City Park.
This route climbs 900' and starts with stunning views of the Chief Joseph Massif, continuing through dense woods alongside beautiful Hurricane Creek. Participants have the option of choosing shorter distances if a full half-marathon is not what you're after. Although medals are awarded, the main mission of the run is to simply get out, get some exercise and have a good time- which is exactly what you're bound to accomplish no matter how fast or far you go!
