One of Oregon's most popular state parks with over 200 sites for tents and RVs as well as several yurts, children's play structure, adjacent marina, swim beach, day use picnic shelters and flush restrooms with hot showers.
The state park may be booked up to 6 months in advance and is often sold-out in July, being a popular spot for many generations of families to spend their summer vacations. In the winter, the park keeps several sites open as well as its yurts, making it one of the few places available to book year-around for those who enjoy snow sports. In the summer, ranger lead talks and star-gazing parties are frequently scheduled, making Wallowa Lake State Park a great place to take the kids for both education and enjoyment.
